1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MusicStats ("we", "our", "us"), you ("user", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Service Description
MusicStats is a music analytics platform that connects with your Spotify account to provide detailed insights about your listening habits, music preferences, and social features.
Our service includes but is not limited to: music analytics, social features, playlist management, recommendations, and data export capabilities.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service at any time with or without notice.
3. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must be at least 13 years old to use MusicStats. Users under 18 should have parental consent.
You must have a valid Spotify account and agree to Spotify's terms of service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
One person or entity may not maintain more than one account without our prior written consent.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use MusicStats only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You will not use our service to violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
Interfering with or disrupting our service or servers
Using automated tools to access our service without permission
Sharing content that is illegal, harmful, or violates intellectual property rights
Impersonating others or providing false information
Engaging in harassment, abuse, or threatening behavior
5. Spotify Integration
MusicStats requires integration with your Spotify account to function properly.
By connecting your Spotify account, you authorize us to access your Spotify data according to the permissions you grant.
Your use of Spotify through our service is also governed by Spotify's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
We are not responsible for changes to Spotify's API, terms, or availability that may affect our service.
You may disconnect your Spotify account at any time, but this will limit or disable most features of our service.
6. Subscription and Payments
MusicStats offers both free and premium subscription tiers with different features and limitations.
Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until cancelled.
All payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.
You are responsible for providing current, complete, and accurate billing information.
We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
Refunds are provided at our discretion and according to applicable law.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
MusicStats and its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of your personal data and content you submit to our service.
By using our service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your data to provide and improve our services.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our service without permission.
All trademarks, service marks, and logos used in our service are the property of their respective owners.
8. Privacy and Data Protection

We do not warrant that our service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated content.
Our service depends on third-party services (like Spotify) and we are not liable for their availability or performance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MusicStats and its employees, directors, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
Your use of our service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Any content you submit to our service
This indemnification obligation will survive termination of your account and these Terms.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our service will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class-action lawsuits.
If arbitration is not available, disputes will be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.
13. General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MusicStats regarding your use of our service.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.

Agreement Acknowledgment
By continuing to use MusicStats after January 1, 2025, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms are effective immediately and will remain in effect while you use our service.
